Expressing heartfelt gratitude, the LAA Steering Committee, extended appreciation to all who contributed their time and resources. Their collective efforts have demonstrated the incredible impact that can be achieved when individuals come together with a shared purpose.

As the Souvenir Program initiative enters its final stages, organizers have outlined key guidelines to ensure a seamless conclusion. March 15, 2024, marks the deadline for the submission of pending solicitations, while all payment collections must be completed by March 31, 2024. Additionally, any potential ad sponsors are urged to submit their contributions by March 31st, pending approval to meet the booklet printing deadline.

In a gracious gesture, prizes will be rewarded to Top Solicitors which will be officially announced on April 1, 2024.

Souvenir Program 2024 Update

The ongoing fundraising effort for the Renovation of the Existing Computer Lab Project, through the publication of a Souvenir Program for the upcoming Grand Alumni Homecoming, has made significant progress. As of January 31, 2024, a total of P316,000 has been raised.

To further enhance the potential funds, the LAA SteerCo has decided to extend the deadline for solicitations until February 29, 2024.

Alumni and friends from various parts of the world have actively supported the fundraising campaign by placing advertisements. The Souvenir Program booklet is scheduled to be released during the first week of May 2024.

LES Computer Lab Renovation Project Update

As of December 25, 2023, the GAH2024 Souvenir Program had raised P245,500, thanks to the encouraging contributions of friends and Langub alumni from all over the world. The primary funds raised from this fundraising event will be used to renovate the current computer lab at Langub Elementary School.

The project is being implemented under the direction of Domie Nazareno, the LAA Project Committee Chairman, and funds were allocated during the most recent meeting of the LAA Steering Committee. Melbert Villanueva, the LAA Logistics Committee Chairman, was designated as the Procurement Officer to oversee the bidding process and bill of materials procurement, which was another calculated step taken to guarantee the project's successful completion.

In the upcoming months, there will be additional project updates available.

After a series of brainstorming activities by the members of LAA Steering Committee and Langub Elementary School Management, a 3rd draft of the program of events has been released for further review as follows:

7AM - Motorcade
8:30AM - Thanksgiving Mass
9:30AM - 12PM - Arrival and Registration, National Anthem, Welcome Address, Presentation of Different Batches, Opening Presentation, Exhibit
12PM -1PM - Lunch
1PM-5PM - Games, Presentation of LAA Officers, Business Meeting, LAA Annual Report
5PM - Dinner at LES Grounds
7PM-12MN - Batch Presentations, Awarding Ceremony, Socials at the Gym

The GAH 2024 promises to be an extraordinary occasion, bringing together Langub Elementary School alumni from various generations. To streamline coordination and resource allocation, alumni have been grouped into five categories:

Group 1 (Batch 1960 to 1976): Pioneers who laid the foundation for Langub's educational legacy.
Group 2 (Batch 1977 to 1992): The torchbearers who carried Langub's spirit through the '80s and '90s.
Group 3 (Batch 1993 to 2008): The group who witnessed Langub's evolution in the early 2000s.
Group 4 (Batch 2007 to 2023): The most recent graduates, representing the school's contemporary identity.
Educators Group: A special tribute to the educators who have dedicated themselves to Langub, both past and present. This group also includes alumni who have chosen the noble profession of teaching.
